The Crib is up, the room is painted!

Dave wanted me to wait until we were completly done to post pics but I can't wait! My parents were generous enought to purchase Gracie's crib, mattress, and all the bedding for us! We decided to put it together Tuesday night (which was tough, American Idol or Gracie's crib) and the results are beautiful!
Her nursery has also been painted with Behr Disney Paint, Skipping Stones (top) and Christopher Robin (bottom). Please enjoy and stay tuned for further nursery updates!!!!

3D/4D UltraSOund

Yesterday, Dave and I went to see Gracie's little face for the very first time. We went to a great facility, InfantSee4D, with my parents, grandmother, sister and her boyfriend. They sat in the room with us and we were all able to view Grace on a theater sized television. It's truly amazing how far technology has come. We not only saw her facial features, but we also saw her move in real time. It was awesome! As apart of the package we received a 30 minute DVD of her and watched it again as soon as we got home last night! We will go back when I"m about 32 weeks when her facail features are a little clearer. For now, enjoy Grace Elizabeth at 26W5D!

Belly Power

It's amazing how much I've grown! Here I am at 26w 3d! I had a doctors appt. today and the nurse told me I lost 3 pounds! I must admit I was pretty pleased with myself (the nurse said it was completly normal and not to worry about it)! I figure I brought enough weight to the party before we started this whole thing so the loss of a few pounds wasn't a big deal!

Oh, and I got a cute new haircut today! Short, trendy, and mommy ready!

Shower!

On January 29th, Lauren and Mama Eley threw me the best shower ever at the Eley Casa! It was great getting to see all of my friends and open all those beautiful gifts. I never really knew how much "stuff" a baby needed until I saw it all in front of me...and we still need so much more!
At 26 weeks, the pregnancy is progressing normally. I had a hint of high blood pressure and the doctor put me on a low dose BP medicine and it seems to be working. I am almost at the thrid trimester and Dave and I are both getting so excited! I love being pregnant but let me tell you, it's tough.

Top 5 Reasons Being Pregnant ain't a walk in the Park:

1. HEARTBURN! And I mean the kind that wakes you up at night. Try walking through the park with that!

2. STRETCH MARKS! Yes, I have them already. Yes, they look horrible. Yes, Dave says it beautiful. Gag me. I Hate them...badge of honor my butt!

3. BENDING OVER...is really hard. I mean REALLY hard...I miss being able to shave my legs standing up.

4.

5.

Ok, I could only think of three! I guess that doesn't make me such a whiny little pregnant girl!

Pictures of the shower for your enjoyement! It looks like tomorrow will be a snow day so I will have Dave take another belly pic!!!
